DOVER, Del. (September 13, 2024) – The Delaware Office of Highway Safety (OHS), Delaware State Police, and local law enforcement partnered to conduct a Driving Under the Influence (DUI) Checkpoint on Friday, September 6, 2024, in the Milford area from 10:00 p.m. – 2:00 a.m.
Checkpoint Results:
Total cars through checkpoints: 340
DUI arrests: 4
Seat belt assessments: 1
Cell phone/distracted: 0
Child restraint arrests: 0
Wanted person apprehensions: 1
Drug arrests: 1
Other traffic arrests: 5
Other criminal arrests: 0
The results of this checkpoint proved it to be a successful enforcement with a total of 4 DUI arrests. Driving under the influence of any substance is dangerous and illegal.
